Training camp is officially over!! These past fourteen days have been wild. A little recap: we pulled into training camp where my parents dropped me off with 17 strangers. We were thrown into a tent and have spent the last two weeks growing closer to each other and learning how to chase after God and spread the gospel to the nations. The phrase blood, sweat, and tears comes to mind whether it was learning how to flip tractor tires or putting a tent together while blindfolded we had to rely on each other to accomplish tasks. I have learned that I can do hard things however that does not mean I have to be alone while doing these things.
I also have been stretched spiritually we are called to take the gospel to the nations. Some highlights include: Is our faith foundation built on Jesus or ourselves? Jesus chose us before we did anything right and after we did everything wrong. My main takeaway has been that God has brought together everyone from different walks of life and hand-picked each of us to be on this team and to Go! Some of us pushed pause on careers or school for the next three months. Ended relationships and said goodbye to family and everyday comforts. We are fully relying upon and trusting that God has a plan.
Currently, we are in the Atlanta airport waiting for our first flight. See you all next week!
